News flash, make-up should be a personal experience from the start.
Every woman I know is attracted to different make-up colors and
looks. We are all taken by the fashion magazines and their ability
to sway us into buying a product that supposedly will erase time or
wishing that our skin would be flawless if only I could buy this one
foundation. Well, make-up is all about trial and error and I am here
to give you ladies some helpful tips that can be utilized across the
board. From a night on the town for a Bachelorette parry to a
wedding, your make-up is a reflection of your mood and your
personality and I want that to shine through.
These are some tantalizing make-up tips
for the lively Bachelorette! So what do I know for sure when girls
get together to party—well women get their drink and their dance on!
One very important thing to remember is
that staying power is key….and I mean for make-up ladies!
1. Prepping the skin is very
important when you are not going to bed till at least sunrise!
A. Use a hydrating moisturizer on your
face to allow your skin to breathe while toxins are going to be
going in throughout the night.
B. Then use a primer before you put on
foundation so your base will go on smoother and easier. For example;
Smashbox secret primers that come in Green, Peach, and clear.
C. Use an under eye moisturizer so you
won’t have to deal with puffiness because of the retainment of water
you will be experiencing. For example; Estee Lauder’s Resilience
Lift Eye Crème or Origins Eye Doctor.
2. Make-up
A. Ladies always wear longwearing
foundation like Cover Girl Outlast Liquid Make-up that lasts up to
10 hours.
B. Curl those lashes always either
before or after your mascara. But be careful especially if you have
a drink in one hand!
C. Use Mac Prep and Prime for the
lashes so your mascara can reach every lash. If you are going to
sweat a lot when you dance the night away be sure to use water proof
mascara so you can be bright eyed and bushy tailed when you are
getting some random guy to give your group his underwear for a buck!
D. Use longwearing up to 8-hour lip
color as well so your luscious lips will still look succulent after
doing blowjobs all night…I mean the drink ladies!
Most importantly have fun with your
make-up and let yourself shine through! These tips will make you
look great all night even when you have embarrassed the bachelorette
party and the bride-to-be.
I love being involved with weddings
because I feel that it is such a special day. There is something
electric when a bride and bridal party come together for a little
pampering on this day. The energy is vibrant.
Weddings are occasions that involve a
sense of continuity if you will. The bride should discuss the
make-up theme that she wants to be represented –whether it is a
Classical look or a more Chic look—the make-up will be a reflection
of who you are and I guarantee you will shine through whichever
application you desire. It is important that you as the bride feel
your most beautiful. These beauty themes can have follow through
with the bridesmaids as well, which I would suggest so the entire
party has a sense of continuity.
Prepping the skin is extremely
imperative for a Wedding.
1. Eye drops are wonderful for eyes
that are sleepy due to the lack of sleep for the bride.
2. I would then prep the skin with a
primer, for example; Cle` de peau primer for long wearing shine free
look.
3. I would use a under eye gel or crème
to de-puff or lighten up the area, for example; Origins Eye Doctor,
Estee Lauder’s Resilience Lift Eye Crème.
4. A moisturizer would be used only if
the bride’s skin feels like there in no elasticity or it is
extremely dry.
Make-up
1. Long wearing foundation is the key,
for example; Cover Girl Outlast Liquid Make-up which lasts up to 10
hours.
2. Curling lashes is always an
important task to open up the eye area.
3. Use Mac Prep and Prime for lashes so
your mascara can reach every lash and of course a waterproof mascara
will be used, for example; Maybelline’s Lash Discovery or Voluminous
by L’Oreal.
4. Use a longwearing lip color so every
clink of the champagne glasses will be a welcome invitation because
your lipstick is not going anywhere, for example; Pro Longwear
Lipcolour.
Make-up for weddings is creative and
indicative of one’s own personal style. It is an honor bringing your
vision into a reality. I wish to enhance the beauty that is you!
